Peace Be Still
Amidst the waging storm
The
blowing winds
And
the screaming waves
There is a voice that says peace be still.
Surrounded and cased down in
Blown and thrown in wage
Screaming out in fear
There is a voice that says peace be still.
Peace be still
The
assuring voice sings
Above the madness and waves
Peace be still, I stand assured in praise.

Poetry is the journal of a sea animal living on land, wanting to fly in the sky.
--Carl Sandburg
If I Write
If I Write, I
write words from within
Expressed in motion, and sent without
To the one that reads, I welcome you still
And write I will, till my journey ends.
If I write, I write words forever
That are placed on the lips of those that read
And through the ages my spirit still
Beneath the breath, within the heart.
